The cordyline plant boasts vibrant colors and is native to warmer climates. It is also adaptable as a houseplant. When thriving in its natural environment, it can grow up to 10 feet tall and yield clusters of small, fragrant, white to light purple flowers that gradually transform into red berries. Although it may not produce flowers or fruit in cooler climates, 'Auntie Lou' makes a stunning summer patio plant and adds height to mixed borders. If grown in cooler climates, it can be relocated indoors before harsh winter weather and enjoyed as a houseplant.
